Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data the liceuldavinci.md website processes, why, and what you can ask of us. It is written under Law no. 195/2024 on the protection of personal data.

The contact form

When you write to us through the form on the Contacts page, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply to you. They are stored on the website's server, are read only by school staff, and are deleted automatically after at most 12 months. They are not shared with anyone and are not used for marketing.

Visiting the website

Like every website, the server that hosts this one (iPhost, our hosting provider) records technical information about each request, such as the IP address, the page requested, the date and the browser. This is needed for the site to work and to protect it from abuse. The provider keeps these logs for a limited period under its own policy.

Cookies

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so it does not ask for your consent. The only cookie is a session cookie for the administration area, set only for school staff when they log in. Visitors do not receive it.

External services, only when you use them

• Search. Site search is provided by Google, free of charge. Google's script is loaded only when you click the search button. From then on, Google receives your IP address and what you search for, and may show ads and use its own cookies.
• Video gallery. Videos on the Video Gallery page are played through YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When that page loads, YouTube receives your IP address.
• Facebook, Instagram, Google Maps and other links are plain links. Nothing is sent to those services unless you follow the link.

Photos from school life

The Gallery publishes photos of events and activities in which students, teachers and parents appear, to show the life of the school. If you, or your child, appear in a photo and would like it removed, write to liceuldavinci@gmail.com saying which album and photo, and we will remove it from the website.

Your rights

You may ask us for access to your data, for it to be corrected or deleted, for its processing to be restricted, to object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to liceuldavinci@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the National Center for Personal Data Protection (datepersonale.md).
